Do you use large transit vans or HGVs?
No. We exclusively use a modern, mixed fleet of agile parcel cars. This allows us to bypass heavy HGV traffic, avoid slow sorting depots, and navigate tight urban streets much faster than traditional large freight vehicles.
Will my parcel be mixed with other deliveries?
Absolutely not. We provide a 100% dedicated point-to-point service. Once your item is loaded into our vehicle, the driver proceeds directly to the delivery address with no co-loading, stops, or detours.
What is a "dedicated vehicle"?
A dedicated vehicle means you are booking the entire cargo capacity of that specific car for your exclusive use. Your goods are the only items on board from the moment of collection until the secure delivery.
How does the secure 4-Digit PIN handover work?
When you complete your secure booking, our system generates a unique 4-Digit PIN. This PIN is emailed to the recipient. Our drivers are strictly mandated to never hand over the goods unless the recipient can provide this exact PIN upon arrival.
What happens if the recipient doesn't have the PIN?
If the correct PIN cannot be provided, the driver will not release the goods. This is to ensure absolute security. The delivery will be marked as failed, and return journey charges will apply. Please ensure your recipient checks their email!
Do you carry highly confidential legal documents?
Yes. Because of our strict 4-Digit PIN verification and direct-drive policy, we are frequently utilized by law firms and financial institutions to transport court bundles, signed contracts, and sensitive financial data securely.
Will I receive a Proof of Delivery (POD)?

Yes. While we take exceptional care of your items via our dedicated point-to-point network, your consignment is covered by our standard Goods in Transit liability up to £1000. For higher value items, additional coverage must be agreed upon in writing prior to dispatch.
Can I track my driver in real-time?
While we do not provide a live GPS dot on a map for security reasons, you receive comprehensive email updates. You will be notified when the booking is confirmed, and you receive an instant electronic POD the second the goods are delivered.

How do I pay for the courier service?
We process all payments securely via Stripe. We accept all major credit and debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. We do not accept cash on delivery.
Are there any hidden fees or fuel surcharges?
No. The price generated by our instant postcode calculator is the final, guaranteed price for the transport. We do not add hidden fuel surcharges or unexpected fees after booking.
How do I get a tax invoice?
An official tax invoice is automatically generated and attached to your Proof of Delivery (POD) email as soon as the consignment is successfully handed over to the recipient.
Can I set up a regular business account?
Currently, all bookings are processed on a swift, pay-as-you-go basis via our Stripe checkout to ensure immediate dispatch. If you require high-volume daily runs, please contact dispatch directly at bookings@jasoncouriers.co.uk.
How fast will you collect my parcel?
For collections within the immediate North East area (Durham, Sunderland, Teesside), we generally aim to have a driver on-site within 45 to 60 minutes of your booking being confirmed, traffic permitting.
What if I need to cancel my booking?
If you cancel before a driver has been dispatched, you will receive a full refund. However, if the driver has already arrived at the collection address (or is en route), a 100% cancellation fee applies as it is classified as a wasted journey.
What happens if my item exceeds the 30kg or 2m limit?
Because our drivers manually load into a car fleet, strict adherence to the limits is mandatory for health and safety. If the item is too large or heavy upon arrival, the driver will refuse collection and a 100% wasted journey fee will apply.
Do you carry medical supplies or specimens?
We regularly transport non-specimen medical supplies, mobility equipment, and vital care documentation for care homes and pharmacies. We do not transport live human tissue, blood specimens, or hazardous biological materials.
What items are strictly prohibited?
We absolutely will not carry: Hazardous, toxic, or flammable materials; illegal narcotics; unlicensed firearms; live animals; human remains; or loose cash/bullion.
How long will the driver wait at the collection point?
Drivers will wait for a maximum of 15 minutes at the collection address for the goods to be presented. If the goods are not ready within this timeframe, the driver may leave, and a wasted journey charge will apply.
Can I change the delivery address while the driver is en route?
Major route diversions cannot be handled automatically. You must contact dispatch urgently on 07449 934 473. Significant diversions will incur additional mileage charges which must be paid before the goods are released.
Do you operate 24/7?
Our online quoting and booking engine is available 24/7. However, out-of-hours collections (late night or early morning) may be subject to fleet availability in your specific region.

By proceeding with a booking through Jason Couriers, you ("The Customer") agree to be strictly bound by the following Terms of Business.

1. Service Scope

Jason Couriers operates a dedicated, same-day, point-to-point courier network utilizing an agile mixed car fleet. We do not consolidate or co-load goods. A dedicated vehicle is assigned solely to your consignment from collection directly to destination.

2. Strict Freight Limits

Because we operate a specialized car fleet rather than heavy transit vans, strict size and weight limits apply to ensure safe transit and manual loading. The Customer warrants that no consignment exceeds:

  • Maximum Length: 2 Meters
  • Maximum Height: 1 Meter
  • Maximum Weight: 30 Kilograms

Drivers reserve the right to refuse collection of items exceeding these limits without issuing a refund.

3. Prohibited Items

We absolutely will not carry: Hazardous, toxic, or flammable materials; illegal narcotics; unlicensed firearms; live animals; or loose cash/bullion. Discovery of such items will result in immediate transit termination.

4. Mandatory PIN Handover System

To guarantee the security of sensitive consignments, a unique 4-Digit PIN is generated upon booking. It is the Customer's responsibility to ensure the recipient receives this PIN. Our drivers are strictly instructed not to release goods unless the correct PIN is provided at the delivery location. Failure to provide the PIN will result in a failed delivery, and return journey charges will apply.

5. Cancellations & Wasted Journeys

  • Pre-Dispatch: Bookings cancelled before a driver has been dispatched are eligible for a full refund.
  • Wasted Journey: If a driver arrives at the collection address and the goods are unavailable, exceed the size limits, or the booking is cancelled post-arrival, a 100% cancellation fee applies.

6. Transit Liability

While exceptional care is taken to secure and protect all consignments during direct transit, goods are carried at the Customer's risk. Jason Couriers' liability for loss or damage in transit is strictly capped at £1000 per consignment unless additional insurance is explicitly agreed in writing prior to collection.
